Saw a car jacking today at Union Market

Ill preface this by saying I have the victim my info in case she needed a statement. This happened right outside Morse Apartments.

I was walking my dog and the victim was standing outside of her car, on the passenger side. Two black kids came rushing by on a scooter and did a u turn. One guy dropped the other guy off, and SPED the fuck away. The other dude was like smiling and creeping up to the door. Before I could say anything at all, he got in the car and drove the fuck away.

This was honestly kind of frightening. I got a great look at the car jackers, but I felt so powerless! Literally nothing I could have done and I felt so bad for the lady.

Lock your doors I guess.

Edit: car theft, not jacking. JFC you guys. Someone got their car stolen while they were right next to it, not in it. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be quibbling about this if it happened to you. Fuck off.
