There is a bit ambiguous wording in the description of the jurisdiction, that states they can operate in the area "immediately surrounding" the listed jurisdiction

Le Dip can make the primavera pasta vegan for you using tomato sauce instead of the creamy one. Sometimes I have to press them on it that it's an option they offer (the GM emailed me it as an option).

For brunch I like stable on H street NE if you like fondue it’s a Swiss place.
If raw bar is your jam then brine and bubbles on H street as well.
Marcel’s by the kennedy center is always amazing.
The natural history museum is also great. I’m not sure if the air and space is timed tickets or not. There’s also the mirrors exhibit at the hirshorn you have to get same day passes but it’s a cool exhibit.
After the caps game I like dirty habit at the hotel Monaco.
Dive bars, The Pug, Dans Café, The tune inn and Lyman’s tavern are all solid choices.

Imagine if we had a relatively half way decent metro system

I don't really understand how seeing them jog to an automatic fire alarm makes you actually any safer.

I would love to get to the point where I don't use my car for days at a time. I am in the PG suburbs. So, there is enough density to bike places, but the bike infrastructure is just not there for a lot of trips. Most of the roads along the Route 1 Corridor are more like freeways, and a lot of people do try to bike/walk but I'm not that brave.

Part of my fellowship in grad school was looking at this. At the time, Texas had 13 different diploma tracks and one of the highest graduation rates in the country.

I wish we had more multi level stations like this. I love the energy of so many trains coming and going all around. Despite living in the area my whole life I sometimes just stand and watch them from above.

Definitely first world problems. My point exactly. Is this Washington DC or not? Seems like a lot of arguments here are " it could be worse, you shouldn't expect more" which i don't agree with. Other cities figured this out. DC can do it. DC should do it

Reply to NoMa Safety vs Dupont Circle for a Single Woman by EbbingOptimist
Dupont IMO is a more fun area, lots of shops, bars and restaurants, centrally located etc. noma is a new neighborhood with less charm etc but bigger buildings with amenities.
