Deflation means its more expensive to borrow money so credit tightens, loans are more expensive, and jobs are lost. The 2008 recession saw this

So... would you rather we just destroy nature for the sake of profits? I swear, you anti socialist types would rather shoot our collective existence in the foot rather than take the absolutely only solution to save the only home we as a species have. The planet needs to recover and we need to stop fucking it up. If you're so concerned about population decline, it seems strange that you'd be opposed to the only viable solution we have.

Sorry, but as someone who works in tech, wtf does this even mean?
Did you mean to say you hope it’s a dedicated line and not just backpacking off the existing internet infrastructure?

India has always gone it’s own way and done what is best for India. They care little for the “great power games” of the wider world. I don’t don’t blame them, they have over 1 billion people to feed and manage.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone though.

New Zealand has some of the highest rates of suicide in the world.
Any endevour which aims to help reduce that, is to be commended.

In Germany supermarket prices raised by more than 23% year to year … its crazy. Energy prices nearly went back to normal but supermarket prices stay this high and keep increasing

Yup, just today in NL saw a meal I used to buy last year for 3.80eu, now it's almost 7euro. Was just laughing at that price. Almost criminal how they are upping prices still.

No, this is the reality of global politics, is taking backing from one super power or another. This isn't a game of who's friends with who, because nations don't have friends, just conveniences.
China and India make sense, share a land border, and being neutral ground between two large hostile powers gives diplomatic leverage.
