Brattleboro is accessible to more job centers. You could find work in Brattleboro, Keene NH, Greenfield Ma and Bennington Vt area. Even Northampton and Amherst Ma are within an hour.

I don’t even remember the last time I wore my winter coat. I wear a hoodie with a vest. I do have some really nice boots though, no need for extra socks if you have the right boots. Extra socks will just make your feet sweat. Hats are ok if you plan to be outside for extended periods of time. Same with gloves I would say. Look it’s not the artic , but it’ll all depend on what you can tolerate. Don’t go spending 1000’s of dollars on winter gear that’ll just sit around not being used.

No they weren’t, The Thanksgiving Day games were always the last game of the season. The MIAA never had playoffs till recently. There were sectional super bowls who would then play in the State super bowls the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Winter Sports have always started the Monday after Thanksgiving, I’ve been out of High School for 32 years now and that’s how it was then and how it is now.

Fall sports need to be done by Sunday after thanksgiving. Winter sports start the Monday after Thanksgiving. This has been the case for a long time. So I don’t know what you mean by these games used to mean something. They have always been the last games of the season.

Ok , but it’s mid 60’s right now. And I agree with the hazards thing, zero reason to drive with them on. And it’s also a illegal in some states.

They sell them at Dicks Sporting Goods. But if you’re a size XL in hoodies get the XL in the Jersey and so on.

Plenty do in Hampden and Hampshire county. Which is where most people live in Western Mass. Franklin County is just meh. And the Berkshires are their own separate thing.
But there’s plenty of things and places to go to where people can meet friends. Western Mass isn’t exactly living in Northern Maine.

I feel the opposite, it was a dumpster fire for so long. Now it’s gentrified too much. It’s almost impossible to afford to live there.

No they wouldn’t, Prisoners don’t give a flying fuck about much. They are all fucking degenerate scumbags for the most part. The biggest thing that prisoners fight over is sex. You either fight to not get raped, fight to be the raper or fight another prisoner for their piece of ass. The other things are food, drugs or gang shit.

You can believe what fallacy you want. But the reality is that the only people moving to Holyoke are doing so because that’s all they could afford. Same as the schools, they are sending them there because that’s where they could afford to live.

More and Cheaper inventory in Holyoke. People who can afford to get out do. Those who can only afford Holyoke make that sacrifice for home ownership. No one who values their child’s education is willfully sending them to HPS.

Better than living in a rundown semi urban hellhole. 90% of Holyoke is a burnt up ghetto. I used to own a building on South Canal street. Sold it for Pennie’s on the dollar after the 3rd fire and 2nd dead body found. There’s nothing redeeming about Holyoke. Keep telling yourself you love it there , but we all know in reality it’s the only place you can afford.

Absolutely not wrong. Hell I’d even say Holyoke isn’t even top ten in Hampden County of desirable places to live.
Longmeadow East Longmeadow Wilbraham Ludlow West Springfield Agawam Westfield Southwick Hampden Chicopee Springfield And Holyoke would fall somewhere down below all of these places.

Because believe it or not, Springfield is more accessible to more places than Taunton. You are showing your Boston bias here. For distribution sake , Springfield is a much more strategic location than Taunton.

Holyoke is the cesspool of Western Mass. I don’t know of anyone who actively looks to buy a house there. The schools are ranked at the bottom of the state rankings. A drive down Main Street tells you all you need to know about Holyoke.
