I have 5 of the oil-filled radiator heaters, one for almost every room. I've never needed or even used the high wattage setting, in the 20 or so years I've been using them. I think my are a combination of 900 and 1500 watts per heater.

Does it have a lower wattage setting than 1500? If it does, have you tried that one, to see if it keeps you warm enough?

Reply to Which of the big designer branders have the highest quality leather for wallets? by Nickyweg
I wouldn't call this one of the biggest designer brands but certainly one of the best and longest-lasting for the money. So far, my wallet has lasted at least 10 years. I have a back-up one of the same brand (new) but I wonder if I'm ever going to need it.

Search online at Walmart and Amazon for plastic pump bottles. Only you know what size you need.
I don't know about BIFL, they're plastic. Glass is not a good option to use in the shower.

Rubbermaid makes a jillion types. If you have a Grocery Outlet store close enough, check there for food storage containers. My G.O. has oodles of them, in every size.

That brown was called coppertone. And the goldish yellow was called harvest gold.
I was there. Although thankfully I never had that vomitus-colored shag carpeting. To me they always looked like someone threw up their pizza.

The 1970s' combination of avocado, harvest gold, coppertone & orange was an abomination. Their were actually shag rugs that incorporated all 4 of those colors.

So if we're still using something that was made in, say, the 1920s, and the company that made it went out of business in the 1950s, it shouldn't count?

I have some old aluminum pots that I bought at an estate sale in the 1990s. I use them occasionally for various thing since they have built in handles, which are convenient for picking blueberries. I know they must be at least 100 years old. I have my grandmother's large pottery mixing bowl, which is also at least 100 years old, and still in service.
"For life" mostly depends on how old you are yourself.

I have to plug in my GE clock radio that I bought in the early 1980s. I'm still using it and it's functioning perfectly. So is my Technics receiver and turntable that I purchased in 1981.

Depends on how you interpret "for life". Does that mean you bought it new recently and you're hoping you'll never need to buy another one? Or does it mean something acquired a long, long time ago and it's still fully usable?
