Seems strange that this has been going on all weekend and I'm just now hearing about it on Reddit. People are reporting that they can smell the chemicals from 20 to 30 miles away and one of the routes out of the town is shutdown for 10 miles into Darlington. And 16 miles away, Boardman officials are now advising residents to "shelter in place" because of the fumes.

Someone in New Castle posted a video they took of the mushroom cloud that was seen from nearly 20 miles away. What a mess..

Just curious, but would that also apply to hitting a dead deer carcass left in the middle of the road?

Several years back I ran over a brick that must've fallen off someone's truck and they wanted to write it up as a collision, since it wasn't a moving object. Thankfully it only trashed the tire which was cheaper than the deductible, but with our hilly and windy roads, some shit is just hard to spot until you're already on top of it.

This URL is the only thing I know of that shows whether a mail-in/absentee ballot was recorded. Doesn't seem to be pulling up my info from the last election any more, though. Maybe you could try calling your local county elections office and see if that's something they can find out for you or not?

I bought a new car out of state recently and it took almost 2 months to get my plates, registration and title. The title actually arrived first, since it was mailed directly to me (reg/plates are mailed to the dealership, then re-mailed to you).

Just keep an eye on the expiration date for your temporary reg/plates and if needed, the dealership should be able to get them extended (temps are usually good for 2 months). Best of luck!

> The only complaint is that the roads are a little rough but I'm completely used to it.

It is a beautiful state, but every time I'm coming home from a road trip in any direction, that's always my first thought - "How in the hell are our roads this bad compared to everyone else's?"

Whether coming from NY, OH, NJ, MD or WV, I always have the same immediate impression, which usually detracts from appreciating the otherwise beautiful scenery.

And having less political signs/flags cluttering up the landscape than Buffalo isn't exactly a compliment, but thanks? ;)

Not sure what they used before, but in my younger days when I used to buy cars that were at least a decade old or older, I don't remember the rust ever being as bad as it is on cars now.

My last new car had a corrosion warranty and the manual specifically stated not to use any underbody coatings (never had it on my used cars), and within two years the heat shields all corroded out around their mounts and the license plate bracket rusted and snapped. After another year, an external pump corroded to the point it wouldn't hold pressure. Had the same pump replaced twice and those both rusted out after 3 years. Wheels corroded, sub-floor panels all rusted, lower door rusted.. all within a decade of daily driving and regular underbody car washes.

This. After spending an entire week without electricity or any heat in freezing cold weather a few years ago, we finally got a generator and now crank the heat up a bit right before a winter storm hits.

I'm not at all about "wasting energy", but I'm also not about letting my family and pets freeze while huddled over a boiling pot of water for our only source of heat (which is dangerous).

"Real" Republicans would've stood up for the constitution. Unfortunately the party now has a large amount of unhinged Q idiots and otherwise have very little in common with traditional conservatives.

Being an extremist anti-Democrat does not make you a Republican and these true RINOs should branch off and start their own fucking party.
