Let's hope so. Maybe a war might actually help the planet in the stupid way for once.

Just a question, but could the war with Ukraine cause gas prices to go up to such a degree that governments decide to start replacing gas with renewable just because it's too expensive? Or are we gonna be stuck with the same because they don't want to put a little bit of money into it?

Then those corps would LEAVE said nation. Corporations aren't bound to any action mind you. Any benefits they provide to said nation would be lost.
Also corruption runs rampant, so yeah. Countries don't give a single flying fuck about the environment unless it will get them enough votes to replace the bribes they would get otherwise.

They make everything for the old BECAUSE they don't care about environmental regulation, so it's way cheaper for companies to outsource manufacturing to there rather than make it themselves.

It's basically worldwide accessible high speed internet.. look I dislike the guy as much as you, but the engineers he's hired have developed this and its a pretty good concept. Once he has enough satellites up he's going to probably become exponentially richer than he already is.

Let's be honest, this would be a bit creepy. Imagine waiting at a crosswalk, and looking to the left and seeing a car with the googly eyes focused on your and they slowly track you as you walk across the street.

Man hopefully aliens would be just leaving us to develop rather than planning our destruction. Or maybe we'd be the first. If we make if off the planet.
