Snow sucks for: running, cycling, walking, pushing a stroller, using a wheelchair, driving a vehicle...the list goes on. Then on course theres the heart attacks and back pain caused by shoveling, the millions spent on snow removal. But but but it looks kinda pretty when it falls?!? Not worth it.

They should have been planning for this for at least a couple decades now. Its been common knowledge forever.

Now would be a good time to raise the gas tax. Drivers get enough welfare.

They are expanding the commuter rail to New Bedford and Fall River and just finished expanding the Green Line.

At least Jamaica Pond doesn't have people driving vehicles on it. Can't say that for Forest Hills Cemetary. Why they allow anyone to drive around it is beyond me. Some idiot drove into the cemetery pond recently. Its a danger to everyone who walks around the cemetery. Take the T or park outside the main gate.

I agree but the Harborwalk is iffy with toddlers because there often isn't a proper fence blocking the harbor. OP won't have to worry about this for another year though.

Go to the Omni Parker House. Its the oldest continuously operating hotel in America and its where JFK and Jackie got engaged. Tons of other history in the building. It has a bar called The Last Hurrah.

Name one place in Boston not near a school or park? That is a dumb argument. They put a similar project across from a playground in Franklin Park in JP and guess what? Everything is fine.

A lot of these homeless people are from the suburbs. Why should they be just Boston's problem?

I'm all for projects like this. I live by some in Jamaica Plain and they are fine neighbors. But its completely true that Boston is bearing the brunt of this while the suburbs do nothing but send their "problems" into the city.

Everywhere in Boston is near a school or a park. Its a lame excuse. There is a reason The Simpsons made fun of such things.

If you are able to travel around the area check out Lenox, Stockbridge or Great Barrington. They are charming towns with lots of history and nice scenery(lakes and modest sized mountains).

There is literally zero affordable housing in Lexington. The town is full of awful NIMBY's who let Boston take all the burdens.
