Well at least they're getting prosecuted by a DA who will actually level the strongest charges they can get.
Krasner would already have dismissed them and apologized for the inconvenience.

Gun stores with such lax security should be held criminally liable. Like what the actual fuck?!
How is it legal to allow gun stores to have zero security for their products when corner stores have tighter security for fried rice.
Fucking ridiculous!

This but unironically, the commission is a joke.
Just because a building is old does not mean it has to be preserved forever unchanging because of arbitrary taste in architecture. If a building didn't play an important roll in history it should be up to the property owner what to do with it. People who want to dictate what others can and can't do with their building should be forced to financially compensate the building owner for undermining their property rights for arbitrary reasons.

I watch mobility impaired people have to go into the street and almost get plowed by cars daily because crosswalks are blocked, but hey I'm sure it was traumatic seeing that cyclist get within several feet of that nurse walking across the street.

This should be listed as a city resource.
If enough of us complain to get the Justice Department to come down and start slapping city council around maybe it will get better.

They only enforce permitted areas, if the street isn't permit parking the PPA doesn't patrol it.
If you want better PPA coverage demand the city permit all streets.

Why would PPA enforcing parking laws piss you off, is it your car they're ticketing?

It hard to find parking because we give it away for free. Make every street permit parking and charge the real value of the street space and magically it wouldn't be a problem anymore.

It's amazing they even got to the hospital to maybe be see a cyclist cut in front of them since every cross walk they needed to use to get that point was blocked by an illegally parked car.

The city just lost an ADA lawsuit over the state of the sidewalks. Perhaps reach out or the same group who one that lawsuit about the non enforcement of curb cuts still being a violation of the ADA.

Because the street in question isn't permitted, so the PPA doesn't enforce it. If the street isn't permitted enforcement falls to the PPD who doesn't give a shit about it.
Call your councilman and complain that all streets should be permitted and the current system doesn't work.

Because that street isn't permitted and thus the PPA do not patrol or enforce it.
Report it to 911 for illegal parking blocking the cross walk.

This is really what we should be doing city wide. Implementing bus ways with trolley buses until money becomes available to turn lines into light rail corridors should demand justify it.

If individual townships truly can't afford their own police department, they should be able to apply for state coverage, but be assed a special tax to cover half the cost of the service if they want it.

It's intentional, they use the deficits they create as the excuse to cut social services they don't like such as educational services, public health, food stamps, etc.
It like they want a dumb, poor, population living on the edge at all times.

Or we can burn it to continue expanding free state police coverage for mostly Republican townships who are too cheap to pay for thier own police force but like to talk about fiscal responsibility all the time.

The republicans have been blocking the sex abuse amendment for years to protect religious institutions, namely but not limited to the Catholic church.
Their bundling of this in is plainly an attempt to get Rozzi to bite and hopefully he's smart enough not to, even though this has been his number one issue his whole time in office.
