But that kinda smears the business as well. "We're not doing it" is a quick and vague response, anything more specific but just as quick sounds like maybe they shut it down for health code reasons, maybe it won't be working tomorrow, it invites more questions and doubt about the business than "we just aren't doing it now". Heck maybe it's just staffing, maybe if they spread their staff out into doing popcorn too then customers will start being stuck in line while their movie starts, maybe that happened an hour before you got there and they just had to refund a bunch of angry people. They dont owe us an explanation as to what is going on behind the scenes, it's quite literally their business. Why do you deserve to know why they aren't doing it? Because your wife WANTED popcorn?
