Fuck that show was good. Need a rewatch when I make my roommate go at it.

I’m making her watch all the good shows like Breaking Bad and such and I’m having a blast as well so we can discuss stuff.

Also I can’t believe I stopped Mr. Robot the first time around at midpoint of S1. After years I decided to give it another chance and it’s one of my favorite shows ever.

I really think you should give the show a chance. I’m at book 4 currently and I agree that the books are awesome.

But so is the show. I started there and now moved on to the books. It’s a great adaptation and I think season 1 just suffers from a slight lack of budget. At least when it compares to the rest of the show. And it’s a slow start. Not a lot of moving parts in plot yet.

Maybe not exactly in the right, but just on the same side as most of the show's audience. Seeing what the fans want. Acknowledging that the character isn't written well or needs more development.

For me it’s completely the opposite.

I enjoyed the show having a new setting and set of characters. But felt like it was rushed way too much. This is where I’d say the more seasons, the better. The show deserved at least one more. And to dangle agent Batista and Dexter show off like that? Then do nothing? Freaking sad.

I mean I kindaaaa get this. I definitely wouldn’t wait 90 minutes and pay that much for a drink after.

But isn’t it the same with food? Yes you can say you don’t care about fancy dishes but it’s true that sometimes it’s worth paying for some specialty courses. And it’s not like you eat that all the time. Me and my friends, and especially me are cheap haha. I usually cook for myself and sometimes I’m just happy with McDonalds. But once a year or so we still go and find some good food experience.

But yeah idk. Then again food is still different than drinks.

New Blood started just as I finished my first run of the OG series. Even tho people didn't like tha later seasons I really enjoyed the whole show.

Plot holes aside, I also loved the direction of New Blood, but damn the last half of last episode completely ruined everything. I know it's usually good to end shows early rather than dragging them on, but damn New Blood needed at least one more season.

The show will still be one of the best experiences in tv for me, but disappointing ending.
