Absolutely fucking nothing.

I was accused of not returning my old Verizon router a few years back. UPS has tracking and signature options while some random store employee does not.

It’s pretty much why local government here sucks ass.

It’s expensive to employ people and have them rove around the city. It goes far beyond wages. I’d be surprised if there’s much parking ticket revenue left to pad anyone’s pockets.

It took you 3 hours to carry soup up to your friend’s apartment? I get parking can be inconvenient, but what stopped you from running the soup up and then moving your car?
The city does pay for parking enforcement (salaries for parking officers, meters/equipment, etc) and I have frankly always wondered how much parking ticket revenue the city keeps after the costs of enforcing it in the first place.

Yeah that website doesn’t list where those bridges are. “TBD” and “please download an app” that doesn’t have that information posted yet just aren’t helpful when trying to plan something a few days in advance.

They couldn’t have picked a more disruptive route. Anyone who is just trying to live or work in this city will be screwed with and without pre-planning. Might as well decide now if you want to be trapped inside or outside for a full day.

Thank you. I’m quitting work early today because sigh one jackass customer was inconsiderate and that inconsideration caused downstream problems for another customer that I am now being blamed for. I am so mad, too mad to even vocally react.
To anyone else reading: for the love of god, don’t get into taxis or rideshare smelling like weed. I drive for a living, it’s my only income, and now I have to defend myself for something I didn’t do.
I smoke weed and love it too, but NEVER anywhere near a taxi/rideshare. It’s so fucking rude and livelihoods are at risk.
