I get the frustration of being tailgated, especially in the right lane....but I think this is a good opportunity to remind all those cruising in the left lane....

Not driving in the left lane isn't the opinion of a random reddditor....it's the law in Missouri.

It's so disappointing, and frankly infuriating, that you were the victim and you're expected to track down the perpetrator, collect evidence, and be able to nail down who did it before the police will even consider doing anything...you know the people who are paid a full salary, numerous benefits, and a pension at taxpayer expense to prevent , investigate, and bring to prosecution criminals.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

Same thing happened in our driveway about 2 years ago. We had video ofnthe people, as did our neighbors who had their vehicle broken into too....Police showed up. Looked at the video (wouldn't even humor us by accepting a copy of it).

Makes paying my property tax this month a little bit bigger pill to swallow.

You've got shitty neighbors, I got it.

They're doing illegal shit and staying a step ahead of LE and their nosy neighbors, I got it.

What I don't get is how you know the circumstances of your neighbors lease or current rental status when you apparently can't contact the owner, and the supposed leasee is incarcerated.

In any scenario, neighbors don't have the authority to enforce a lease, thats between the property owner and the leasee...I don't think you get it.

The law breaking and suspicious activity is a problem, unfortunately, all you can do is continue to report it.

I'm always amazed when people believe they have the right to dictate others private property, or in this case, terms of lease.

I get being frustrated by dickhead neighbors who are trashy or inconsiderate, but if they aren't breaking the law they're just assholes.

If they do break the law, call it in. If you believe a code is being broken, report it, but outside of that you don't have the right to dictate how people live or where.

That's the trade off of living in a city...having to deal with people.

When I was in college, i was a server and absolutely LOVED working thanksgiving...., people were more friendly than normal (gracious for you being open), the restaurant catered a really nice meal for employees, our base wage was increased, and most importantly, the tips were CRAZY good.

>Not really a good place anymore. Scalpers, Facebook marketplace, eBay pretty much killed it.

Nailed. It.

There's about another half dozen sites with people who do this too.

MSU teaches a marketing course designed people.how to.set up an Amazon store and buy and resale things literally from clearance sections, thrift shops, and garage sales.

Not trying to be an ass here....BUT...how did any person not know?

In the past month alone:

The state mailed out a notice to every household in MO.

It was KY3.

It was on the radio.

It's on the springfield reddit page and the missouri reddit page.

We had a mailer on our door.

They had a notice taped to the front door of the polling station.

There was a notice at the DMV when I visited in October

This was all AFTER the info was posted when the law changed. Subsequent news releases and social media generated both praise and disdain from either side.

When I voted in the primary I handed my voter ID card to the election judge and was given a notice card indicating voting requirements for this election.

I was honestly inundated with the same info to the point I have a hard time of understanding how anyone hadn't heard of this.
