Well thank goodness you didn't. Safety issue and all. Count your blessings that you avoided the safety issue.

tagging you as "drummer" and there's literally nothing the cops can do to stop me
I'm not awful at throwing songs together. Just sayin.

What do you use for an Ekit? Drums are the hardest and suckiest part of recording for me, since I'm not a drummer so I end up "programming" drums a layer at a time with a keyboard, and that shit feels hollow as hell (even though it SOUNDS nice, because I got a killer deal on Superior Drummer so my samples are top notch)
I always thought it would be cool to do something similar but with an ekit instead.

Ooooh, I love a good safety issue, wonder what it was

I play rhythm guitar (okish) bass guitar (barely) keyboards (okish) and I can hold a tune, too.
Drums are right-out for me. I can sing and play guitar at the same time but feet and hands can't do different things.

It's Florida.
Florida has damn near perfect, straight highways and yet people can't help but skid off the road every couple miles.

I think the only thing on this map that seems correct right off the bat is Wisconsin being the binge drinking capital. It's practically cultural there.

I truly don't think this is satire, I think it's just a bunch of bullshit that feasibly looks right if you don't think about it. So basically all of r/mapporn

How is Kansas the poorest health but Mississippi leads in obesity (which ALSO isn't fucking true)
How is Nevada the king of "crime" (again, not true) but Oklahoma the Queen of "female criminals"
And I can't stress this enough, how is MINNESOTA the top of "tornados" and not, you know, some fucking state in TORNADO FUCKING ALLEY
Damn near everything on this map is either straight up false, or directly conflicts with something else on the map. It's violently bad.

I often wonder when it's going to "catch up" with us that fast food places aren't worth it these days. It's not cheap anymore, and in a lot of cases it's not fast either. It's merely convenient, sort of.

WTF does "most sickly" even mean? Iowa is NOT the oldest state, it's not even close. Minnesota being the worst for Tornados?
r/mapporn and r/dataisbeautiful are absolute clusterfucks of fake shit.

To anyone who doubts that this is 100% manmade, and is not "just a weather cycle," this is always helpful to look at
TLDR: yes, the climate cycles. Slowly over tens of thousands of years. Since we started burning fossil fuels, the trend is clearly not natural.

I get it, but I think this is better than the way most assistance programs are set up, where you basically have to be living in a cardboard box to get help.

I have no love for them, but three things:
-
Nestle doesn't own them anymore
-
What the hell does pumping groundwater have to do with climate change
-
The actual amount they pumped was infinitesimally small compared to what's in the water table

There's actually some studies about this, and it's not at all clear.
One even came to the conclusion that consuming "charity" content like this can trigger the part of your brain that rewards you (rewards, not motivates) for doing altruistic things, making you less likely to actually do those things.
In the same vein: You know when you have a hobby, and then you spin up a grand project from that hobby? Don't ever tell anyone you're doing it, and you have a much higher chance of finishing it. It's the same trigger. You tell someone about your project, your brain rewards you as if you've done the project.
Brains are silly.
