Maybe you've got a better rate in your area. I looked before I posted and it's still $1 for the first month and $14.99 for each additional month for me. PC Game Pass was $1 for my first month and $9.99 each additional.

For that price, someone could technically get PC Game Pass and PS Essentials with the PS5 Collection. For me, Game Pass PC and PS Premium is the best value but there's something for everyone.

English is fine. I understand you.

I disagree but I don't have a need for cloud gaming. I don't think the extra $5 a month for Ultimate is worth the 20-30 additional old Xbox games (minus the PC games) and the cloud gaming. PC Game Pass is only $10 a month as opposed to $15 fo Ultimate. I'm sure cloud gaming is worth $5 for some people though, for sure.

Either way, this guy just wants to know if he should buy a PS4 Pro or PS5. I only brought up Game Pass as a cost comparison to the PS Extra subscription.

PC with Game Pass with a PS5 with PS Plus is great for me. If you have a PC, I see no reason to own an Xbox. PS is bringing their games to PC but they're still at least a year after release and there are many games that aren't available at all on pc.

Not if you pay monthly. Pay for the year and it's one of the best deals out there. Especially with a PS5. PS Plus Premium is $120 per year for almost 800 games. That's about 35% less than Game Pass and 300 more games.

Gaming PC plus PS5 is the way. Get the ps5 and save for your PC. Hopefully you can get your pc by the time the Bethesda and Activision exclusives start dropping.

If you're looking to expand your library, get the PS5. Xbox Series doesn't have any games that are current gen exclusives yet so you still have access to the entire library with your current hardware. You just don't have the graphic upgrades. I think xbox is getting its 1st current gen exclusive this month but it doesn't look like anything special and its also on Playstation 5.

The PS Plus Premium subscription actually has more games than Game Pass and it's a lot cheaper. However, it doesn't have the day one games and the PS3 library can only be streamed. It does come with almost all of the Sony exclusives you missed out on with the exception of the new releases from this year so you can get caught up.

I recommend researching release dates for upcoming xbox console exclusive games that you are interested in. If you find some, try to budget so that you can afford a Series S or X. There's not many but some will be shaking loose 2023, I think.

Or you can play the long game if you don't see anything that's a "must have" and save up for a PC since it gives you access to the Xbox games, PC games and also mods.

I use Xbox Game Pass on PC and PS Plus Premium on PS5. I haven't needed to fire up my Xbox for any reason.

My point is, having a PC and a PS5 gives you access to way more games than PC and Xbox. It's just a fact, with or without subscriptions.

If you want to add subscription services, game Pass PC is $10 a month or $120 per year for 454 games. Game Pass ultimate on Xbox is $15 a year or $180 for 473 games. Most of the games that aren't included with pc game pass are still available for purchase on PC.

PS Plus Extra is just $100 a year, averaging $8 a month, and has 400 games. Many of which aren't available on PC as they are truly exclusive. PS Plus Premium is $120 a year, averaging $10 a month adds another 340+ games. That's close to 2x the games than the more expensive game pass has and it costs 50% more. This doesn't include the 17 (mostly PS exclusive, not available on PC) games that come with the PS Plus Collection AND 3 - 5 free games every month (36-50 games yeatly).

I have both PC Game Pass and PS Plus Premium. I know very well what each service provides and how much they cost.

Get the ps5 because that's what you really want. You can always keep your eye open for the Xbox one and likely find one dirt cheap down the road.

I responded to someone asking specifically for pros and cons, which I responded to. You butted in, unsolicited, to tell me you don't like a console.

Tell OP your opinion. He's the one who asked. If you want mine, just ready response to him.

Go to a bar and just blurt out beers you don't like to random people. Let me know how that works out for you.
