Same there is no weather app that comes close. It's a damn shame that Apple bought them out. Their own weather app is horrible and nowhere near as user-friendly as the dark sky app.
There is no current option on Android or iPhone, even on the web, that provides quick up-to-date and accurate weather like they did.
So perfect, so beautiful, and it had everything you needed with appropriate notifications when you wanted them.

In Egypt it's illegal and possibly deadly to use starlink. Eg: The government will come in and take it arrest and/or kill you. Is that the same in India, can't they just get starlink up and running?

That's one of my favorite classic movies! Got me into sci-fi, me and my mom rented it on a whim when I was a lad. We didn't know what it was, scared the hell out of me, such a great movie.

Fun fact: a vpn to your house keeps the local IP block with Netflix's new system intact for anyone that wants to watch on the go (or lives in a different place cough cough) Works by looking like you live there, just connect in every 3 weeks and you are golden. Even figuring that out I still cancelled, such a bad service now. Was with them since they rented DVDs even piloted the PS3 console app and wrote letters detailing my expertise for it. The company went to crap, unable to retain anything and quality of their series declined to the point I said goodbye.
Monthly cost keep going up for less content and I'm not going to pay a fortune for 4k, no thank you! Not as bad as Hulu, that place is a joke, their CDNs are hot garbage. HBO, Prime and Disney is pretty much it and a month a year for the others if I need to see something. Disney may be moving to 1-2 months a year soon.

Worked for us at the malls, no entry without adult after 6pm. After the 20th arrest word got around. Stealing, shootings, and muggings went down.
For us, we need to stop bussing in from certain parts of the city. 80% of all the crime comes from a few pockets of people in our town. If we run bus service from that area to anywhere else, the anywhere else becomes a hotspot for crime.

I just isolated the process and watched what it communicated to. It's really easy if you have an Android, check out an app called TC slim. But that's just what the Android app does If you want to see it in Windows look into Nirsoft and Sysinternals and use what makes sense for you. There's a lot of utilities there between those two that can help you figure out what they're doing. When I get home I'll get the name of the program I use on Windows.

You're going to get down voted to hell, but you're not wrong. There's really no difference between TikTok and Facebook Instagram WhatsApp, hell those servers directly connect to the Utah data center which is literally down the road. TikTok feels like a made up Boogeyman. You want to get concerned look at Firefox, the amount of external contacts and data that it transmits to and the tracker libraries installed is an absolute nightmare compared to TikTok, that's something to think about. FireFox talks to 7 different companies in close to 30 servers. Plus it fingerprints itself and sends that off, It's a very strange program.
TikTok communicates to three servers exactly. tiktokv.com tiktokcdn.com and one to ibytedtos.com. It's all hosted in America everything's here, they don't even have to guess. If the government was really worried they'd already be fire hosing the data. The only tracking libraries in TikTok are Facebook, VK and Google related. There's not even a fingerprinting library installed. And what spying, snap/meta/insta all share openly and record everything. Hell we know meta listens to key words. This is an OS problem not an app problem go after Android and iOS and harden it against spying, or would that hurt the alphabet agencies more than American citizens?
It comes down to needing hard proof of wrongdoing instead of conjecture. Nobody can prove TikTok is doing anything, until they can I don't see a reason to freak out.

That was a crazy race. The polling locations cut their voting machines by half or more. I still don't understand why they did that. And it wasn't just in big cities It was everywhere even in the rural areas. I had friends out in Delta and down in Kalida both say their polling locations only had a couple machines when they used to have 8 to 10.

We still have those ideals and values, we are just gerrymandered so bad that it looks like we're a mini Texas. Don't believe the votes or the numbers. Good people still live here!

Reply to Perhaps dreaming is our natural state, and the only reason we wale up is to gather further information for them. by Orcasareglorious
I have dreams that can last months, I had one last what I preceived as years before. I mean yeah I was only asleep for maybe 5 or 6 hours but the dream went on for a long time. I've had about four of those since I was a kid. Waking up after one of those is extremely disorienting and I have to remember where I am and reacclimate to current time. I used to rationalize it as being part of a different timeline because it's always me, I can see myself, I can read, I have feelings, I feel pain, I sleep and eat, there's no way to tell that I'm dreaming. But my age In these dreams is whatever I am when I fell asleep. It's absolutely nuts and freaks me out every time it happens.
