when you say "found", you mean at a coin shop/show or similar?

I only hate them b/c I have a lazy eye, so the 3D effect doesn't work for me since I'm only looking at the screen with one of my eyes at a time.

I want to know why the US hasn't gotten rid of the penny(and possibly the nickel) yet; and this is coming from a US coin collector who has a mostly complete Wheat Penny collection.

At least this one has 2 different sizes; of the 100s I've seen posted on this sub, I've never seen one where it showed 2 that were different sizes (I assumed they were all the same size).

Family Guy just did a whole episode about this a few weeks ago where Peter took his family over to the last store in OR to return one movie. (after looking up this $amount, but I didn't remember it) Peter owned them over $32k in late fees.

1st of all, OP's coin is a nickel, not a quarter (worth 5c face, not 25c). 2nd, there is no silver in any V nickle (b/c as I just said, it's a nickle, not a quarter; the "pre-1965 90% silver content" doesn't apply to nickles). 3rd, price guides put a 1909 nickle's value at around $2 in G-4 condition, which is what I think the condition OP's coin is in, so there's no way this is worth anything near $50. I'm not even sure where you got "about $50" from anyway b/c if it was a quarter, except for the 1909-O all 1909 quarters in the same condition are worth around $13.
