Urgent care is most urgent issue in the house at the moment.

When I stopped in with chest pain and shooting pains down my arm... they took me ahead of the kid with the earache.

I think it's BS that we are reduced to using Urgent care instead of being able to see our doctors. But that's the way things are right now.

Having done some time as an MA in an urgent care office... not Convenient MD... I can tell you that generally they do the best that they can with what they have. They aren't trying to ruin your day.

Does anyone know if I can still vote even though I ordered an absentee ballot?

I ordered one last month.. but I managed to lose it. (When it arrived I was pretty sick. I must have put it somewhere 'safe'. So it's here somewhere but I was told it was too late to turn it in now anyway.)

But if I go to the polls will they think I've already voted?

As long as you are wearing costumes... I'm happy to hand out candy. I don't even 'require' costumes for the little ones because I know sometimes they have a hard time with them. But anyone who takes the time to dress up and walk around is more than welcome to candy.

If anyone does give you a hard time... just be upfront. She didn't get to T or T as a child. I can't imagine anyone being an asshole after that.

Central Maine here... got our first hard frost this morning. Probably need to take out the window shakers.

We could see snow anytime now. Probably not lasting snow though. Snow that sticks through the winter usually doesn't show up until around Thanksgiving. (Though there have been a couple years lately when that didn't happen until after Christmas)
