Trust me, if it's not a specific law its not covered. The post with the reckless driving thing is a stretch at best. Good luck arguing that in a courtroom. Even if the judge accepts it (which I'm not so sure they would) unless you have it on film the person could say just about whatever they want in terms of where the pet was at the time. Also for some of these kinds of people it's a "service animal" and a lot of people think that means they can do whatever they want with them. I'm no Republican...but this is a reasonable law.

The notion that you can just get regular maintenance and be fine is a little absurd. You need regular inspections, not just for your own safety but for others on the road. About 15 years ago I had an inspection and they found a very small leak in my gasline. I was getting 4-5 oil changes a year at that time due to the amount I was driving. No one caught it and I don't have a great sense of smell. Had it not been for the inspection who knows what would have happened. Could I have been fine until it got worse and I noticed it? Maybe. I also might have just blown up. Honestly I still think it's a little absurd that insurance isn't mandatory in NH.

Wow interesting maybe stop voting republican then since they clearly don't represent you or your wanhahahaha sorry I couldn't even finish it because we both know you'll vote for anyone with that R next to their name. That's why trump won and why we're not too far off from becoming Northern Alabama. Again, I don't care what you say I care what you do...and people like you have been voting in right wing nut-jobs and free staters. That's all I need to know about you. Make changes to that first then we can talk about whatever you want, chief.

Believe it or not one does have the ability to look up what has been passed by state lawmakers. It's pretty clear to anyone willing to check what the agendas are for the local GOP. I don't ask because the lip service I'll get means less than nothing. I don't care what people say, I care what they do...and what they do is publicly available information.

Yeah I've lived all around, there's really only 2 or 3 states where the left legitimately doesn't own and wouldn't own a gun and they're all states with extremely large cities. Every other state its pretty close to an even split liberal to conservative in terms of gun ownership.

When they were NOT condemned? I mean...how about the guy running for president again? Take your pick of offenses: January 6th, openly admitting to sexual assult on camera, illegally using campaign money to pay off a porn star he was having an affair with, taking classified documents to his private estate (essentially a far worse version of the same crime he was saying Clinton should go to jail for). Not to mention the Trump organization was literally just found guilty of multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records YESTERDAY. Not sure I've heard a single member of the GOP speak on that. Is that a good example? How about the Matt Gaetz underage sex trafficking situation? Anyone have anything to say on that? Last I checked that scumbag still had a job. I'd suggest you check out the link below. It's the most detailed record that exists re: recent violations and complaints against US political figures, the findings of any investigations and the outcomes. Comb through this for a few minutes and it'll become pretty clear which party gets in actual trouble and which party let's stuff slide.

That's exactly what I'm saying. The real reason they're doing it is because NH primary voting data typically doesn't look anything like the national data. Campaigns are extremely data-centric and our data simply can't be trusted to hold up nationally. Look at the last two Dem primaries: Sanders smoked Clinton in 2016 and Biden didn't even crack the top 4 in 2020.

I personally think that historically we actually do pick the better candidate and are smarter than the average Dem voter, but because of that we don't always pick the one that's going to get the most votes in a primary. Sanders 100% beats Trump in 2016 and NH knew Biden wasn't the best choice in 2020. Either way it doesnt matter, the decision to do this isn't based on them actually thinking NH needs to change anything, they just don't want us going first anymore.

Call your insurance company and tell them. They'll take those clowns to the cleaners. Companies do this pretty consistently. They want to see if you'll do anything about it, but they'll pay up.

NH isn't important in terms of the general election and let's be honest: we're a terrible choice for first-in-the-nation voting. Also as a lifelong NH resident...I could care less when we vote. I also think NH voters are pretty reasonable when it comes to voting for senators they think will go to work and get things done when they get to Washington. Can't imagine this will impact that.
