From what I’ve been reading a time lapse over the next few years could be really interesting. When countries like Germany and Japan start talking about increasing defense spending you know things are serious

Ehh…again googling came up with this list at the top -> https://www.innocence.fm/
Two in US, one in UK, one in Italy. I’d need to see some real statistics to believe this is dominantly an American problem, exonerated by podcasts or otherwise

Does it really happen more in the US than elsewhere? Googling brings up plenty of cases in Europe and Asia. One of the top results is this wiki which is obviously incomplete but does represent most countries -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_miscarriage_of_justice_cases

ITT - Redditors upvoting something not oniony at all because it’s an unfortunate occurrence that happens far too often

Sheesh…I live in Massachusetts and our regional culture doesn’t revolve around those things either.
Lol…we do revolve around education though, as well as not being douches that would write “sorry my bad” without realizing that made them look like douches

I take it you’re not from the US?
We’re taught about this all of the time here. Levi went west to sell supplies to the gold miners. He tried to sell canvas for tents and a customer said that he’d buy pants made out of the material if they existed. Boom…Levi’s are born.
Heck…I’ve heard the tale brought up at jobs before even

Another fun fact: they returned the towels they used for the cover of their first album to Macys. Someone out there might have bought them and had them in bathroom without knowing

The headline (and some of the article) make it sound like copying a robot dog at all is what the lawsuit is about (which would be ridiculous). The parts of the article about the specific patents being violated sound like Boston Dynamics have a case.

You’ll also match the screws/bolts to the specific hole to which they mated over time. For cars and machinery this can be important

Huh...maybe the venue I saw them at isn't representative of where they typically play then. It's not like we don't have stadiums in Boston though.

That is a possibility honestly: the size of their stage show. I can't picture Rammstein ever playing anything smaller than a stadium for the same reason.

Huh...thanks for the explanation. I suppose at this stage of their career Judas Priest certainly can choose to play wherever they prefer. They can't be needing the money at this point.

It has a capacity of 5000. That's 10x smaller than the venues where Iron Maiden plays.
