The area directly in front of the RPG is safe, its the area directly behind the RPG that is dangerous.
There is an initial rocket motor that boosts it out of the tube, it stops firing before it leaves the tube so the soldier doesn't get hit with the exhaust. Anything behind the tube DOES get hit with exhaust and injuries result if you are standing there. After a short distance a 2nd rocket motor fires for it to travel the rest of the way.
Hes keeping the cat is the safe(r) zone, where he can also keep an eye on it without moving.

Second this. I got some 5ghz directional units ($150 each?) and could share internet at 100mbps solid with someone 200~300' away.
Protip: Don't buy 2.4ghz units unless you don't live near other people, because any apartment building will be so full of 2.4ghz signals that you'll never get your own signal through that noise.
2.4ghz has 3 non overlapping channels, 5ghz has dozens. But 5ghz won't go through walls, and even glass windows block a good deal of signal so you really gotta mount the units outside, or at least 1 outside and one in a window. (But this also means apartment buildings don't leak nearly as much 5ghz because all the walls stop it)

Ok, but farmer fields are also bigger then your assuming.
Think of the biggest yard you have ever seen... that is a tiny hobby farm. Industrial farming is done at insane scale.

Yep, so you have 1 tiny robot that spends 24/7 scanning acres, it will complete a full scan every week to month.

>The big problem for a farmer is that it only kills what is up. There isn't any lasting protection.
that is why you just have it work 24/7/365.

Well id hope nobody is around it, imagine a new breed of blinded farmer with lots of burn marks all over him.
Im wondering what happens when it breaks down in the middle of the field and starts lasering everything that gets near.
