Mmm, that does sound great! I don't think the house made stuff ever has an ingredients list.

Ah, I'll have to give them a try. Is it house made? That seems to be my preference based on a small sample.

I dunno about that, sour pickles especially get soft and nasty. I like to buy them 1/2 sour and let them sit on the counter till the bright green just leaves, then they're perfect! But even refrigerated they don't stay that way very long. You also have to get the ones with no preservatives to do that.

Last month I had a conversation with the regional manager of Dykes lumber who was saying they simply can't get anyone who will do the cabinet design and spec work for the semi custom cabinets. Give them a call.

Ah, the sandwich thing. What gets me is they slice the onions paper thin, and when I ask for more they threaten to upcharge me. For a fucking slice of onion! I miss the Monmouth St Deli.

You probably read the best parts anyway. The abuses that brought him down are important, but less interesting than the earlier stuff.
I think about Moses all the time when the whole housing shortage due to of NIMBYism comes up, the Great Builder must be laughing in his grave.

Hmm, hard to tell how much shading you're getting from the neighbor trees. But my raspberries do great right up against the neighbor's garage shading them all afternoon. Only problem is the mosquitos love lurking in them making picking a hazard!
Whiskey barrels are great, about $30 and you can simply screw a trellis to them to grow green beans, cukes or climbing zucchini.

A lot depends on where south is. If it's to the left or straight ahead it looks like you have some pretty good light. Me, I'd plant it up with produce both in the ground and in containers on the cement. We gave up on a postage stamp lawn when the kids were too old to play on it, and recently did the chips with the flower and coleus bed.

Ok, maybe I'm doing it wrong. How do you make your inquiry and what did it cost you? FWIW, I just got it done. I paid them more than they asked.

I said the weight and it was an appliance, what difference does type make? I default to privacy, even about stupid stuff. No matter what it is, someone will second guess you about what you're doing.

Most of the taskrabbit 'movers' are looking to be paid for their vehicles as well as labor. There doesn't seem to be a good way to just get labor. But I have a PM from someone who looks like it'll work out for this evening.

Far and away your biggest potential hazard is poison ivy, which can cause a nasty rash depending on how allergic you are to it. It's everywhere, learn to recognize and avoid it. Birds spread its seeds and it thrives in our man-made landscape.
Unfortunately there's several other forms of local ivy that can be mistaken for it, particularly juvenile Boston ivy. The saying goes "leaves of three, let it be", but Poison Ivy's middle leaflet has an extended stem on it and Boston Ivy's doesn't.

I thought chiggers was a southern thing, I've never heard of anyone getting chiggers in the Northeast. My family and I have camped for many years and never had chiggers.

Yes he was totally Asperger's, but I don't believe he was actively annoying, just uninterested in other people for the most part. That included a disinterest in collecting accolades. He also discovered X-rays, thought it was interesting and moved on to something else interesting.
But that doesn't mean it's ok for other people to take credit for his discoveries, any more that was ok for Edison to take personal credit for the work of his lab staff.

If we're going to pull on this politically correct string, let's go all the way and say we should return the whole damn place to the Lenape and let them name the street whatever the fuck they want. Then the address of your former condo will be moot.
