The major problem with policing in this country is that we need more policing, but completely different style of policing. However, whenever we try to get more policing (in terms of budget or officers), they use it badly. That means the only two functional choices is more, brutal policing or less, good policing. That's a terrible choice.

Reply to DCA past midnight by Aiorr

Last time I flew into DCA after the metro closed, the taxi was 50% cheaper than Uber. I recommend trying the taxi. It was about $25 to Columbia Heights vs. $50 for Uber.

Woodley Hair Style in Woodley Park. I think it's $25 for a men's hair cut. I go there all the time. When I moved to Columbia Heights, I went to the Sport Clips and got the worst hair cut I ever had, so I still go back to Woodley Hair Style.

7 of the 9 parking tickets I've been issued in DC have been wrong. I've been towed twice because of it, and both times, they couldn't tell me where they towed my car to. One of the times, they didn't even have a record of my car being towed. I had a whole rant about it earlier this year.

Thankfully, I've won every dispute, even if the arbitrator is snotty about it when I am clearly correct and gave a well-supported dispute.

Bikers in this subreddit: "How dare you say that bikers could do anything on their own to be safer!"

Just last week, I had a biker run a red light as I turning. Would have hit them if I hadn't hit the breaks. But most fuck cars people would blame me for that.
