I wouldn’t put everything on actually getting into space but you can still work towards it and set yourself up to be one of the few available for it. If it’s your dream it’s absolutely worth trying for and even if it doesn’t work out, being in a position to be chosen still puts you close to the action. Basically, If it’s really that important to you, do everything you can to be put on the short list but think of actually getting into space as icing on the cake.

Not sure how it is in the U.K. In the states, over half the astronauts have been military.

Yeah stuff like that is always cool to see. Not sure how rare it is but I spend more time outdoors than most and I’ve only seen it once. If you haven’t seen the iss already look it up and find out when you can. Weird being able to see it and know there’s people up there.

What is it if it has more than one color? One time out camping I saw a what we called a meteorite. It left a smoke trail as it was burning up and it changed colors a couple times. Never hit though, we were high up a mountain and watched it break apart. One of the coolest things I ever saw, almost made it look like daytime out.

Randomly came across this post and I know nothing about cleaning books. I do know about sandpaper though. Try a sanding sponge, they come in different grits but I’d try something over 100. The more the grit number the smoother the sandpaper. So 30 grit will tear some stuff up and 2000 grit will polish things.
