I mean if you your you have ADD so bad you can't watch like a 90 minute movie then visceral violence and sexual content might be needed to keep you engaged.

Luke finding his dead Uncle and Aunt is hilarious to me. Just the complete lack of reaction and he leaves with "There's nothing here for me now".
He doesn't even bother to bury them, like literally the Jawas killed by Stormtroopers got a better burial than the people who raised him did. He was more sad when Obi-Wan died(who he just met)

Really I thought it was the opposite, the American one seems to have a far bleaker and more overt ending. Whereas the original is ambiguous.
What I like more about the American one besides the increased production value is that the child actors are better and I prefer the score.

Depends on the film, but hs performances always strike a deep chord in you. Feelings of mortality and a search for meaning.
