I’m from the US, so bands that are loved here are almost always known outside as well.
Just commenting to say that I LOVE the Cat Empire. They are so good live!!! It will be interesting to see how the new lineup is

You said they are not at all rock n roll, and that just isn’t correct. Also, music often isn’t a single genre: there is lots of overlap
