Both he and his party and the other party were all for it. It was a popular idea at the time. It has turned out to be a bad idea. This really isn’t difficult.

So, no, Rowland didn’t veto it. Deregulation was an idea that simply didn’t work.

Sure do. Did the governor actually veto this and the legislature override it? If not, your comment is pointless. You think for yourself, but do you do it well?

The Republican governor signed off on it. Could have vetoed. Didn’t. Meaning both parties are complicit. Lose your blinders too.

Public transportation includes vehicles that can kill pedestrians. Trains can too. So, no you can’t. Unless we al go back to walking.

You’re willing to spend a fortune on light rail, but enforcement isn’t worth it?

There’s well established currently free buses. They go all over West Hartford.

Good luck with that. Unless they plan on banning cars completely from town.

Typical human BS. We have perfectly good technology to eliminate DUIs but we won’t use it because people will bitch about their rights or something.

It wouldn’t if we installed interlock ignition devices on all cars instead of only people who have already been caught. Too bad everyone would cry about “my freedom”.
