It’s a particular kind of delusion, that’s been made far worst by the internet making it easy for people with schizophrenia and other disorders to tell each other that they’re actually real and correct.

I had a family member go through serious mental health issues like this, please try to get help, and please try to get off the internet. There are people who will tell you to lean into these delusions and it will only hurt you, and alienate you further from the people who care about you.

Please try to get help, I know it’s hard because you can’t trust the things your brain is telling you are happening around you, but please try.
