normal left turns. Those really shouldn't be commuter roads, it prioritizes people who live in the burbs over people who live in the city. Commuters should be on the highways

favorite? We need a better word for the certainty. Even his opponent describes it as such, and said he was running just because he thought one person on the ballot was undemocratic.
I predict Bagby gets 90% of the vote.

yeah totally agree. Though I went for $20 not 100, since I just wanted to get them moved.
Reminds me I have a rigid jobbox I need to sell, time to interact with crazy people...

huh, I looked for bbq when I went in there and must have missed it. Hot pot does nothing for me, but I love a good korean bbq place, even though I'd rather not cook my own food when at a restaurant

Those no left turn signals are a disaster of traffic over engineering. They should get rid of all of them.

I had never seen it before I moved to Richmond. It boggled my mind. It still boggles my mind. Who thought cardboard was a good siding material?

yeah, I thought they actually increased the reveal from roof in snowbelt? Can't remember offhand.
I would bet you were right on historic ex-CAR permission, but I bet you could get boral through as the reveals and shadow lines are better.
Current cypress sucks as much as hardie

If you put it in a pay garage it won't get towed
If this is a sell it for parts you can probably have it picked up directly from the yard

It actually can rot annoyingly enough. It's not rot but it's functionally equivalent. Not a big issue in Richmond generally but don't let snow accumulate against it
What happens is the cardboard inside the concrete gets wet and swells and everything blows up

It's not that we are going to become them. It's that that density is really not something to be scared of. People think Manhattan, and that's not what happens with triplexes

but our dense neighborhoods just aren't dense. They are suburban by most cities lights. I like cities, so I want the density to increase. We can increase Richmond's density by 7x before we get to London, which isn't all that dense a city in most neighborhoods.

economics yes. Your interpretation is on the face of it contrary to economics.
You think a supply shortage lowers prices?
You think adding supply raises prices?

I don't want to talk down solar, because I think it's great. But I have never been able to get the numbers to work without tax incentives even with me doing the install.
Mass Dominion solar makes much more sense.

We need housing. People try to block it. We need Yimbys to solve the problem

well yeah. I'm pretty sure this will set new lows for turnout, but Bagby will get at least 3 churchs full of baptists, and that will be enough.
He's already spent 200k on this race I gather. Which is nuts. But my guess is he is getting ready for the rematch
