I've heard that, but I don't believe that's correct. It also doesn't match my experience as a pizza freak that makes his own pizza dough. The big and obvious difference is technique, no one outside NYC metro knows how to make pizza dough I swear (exaggeration but...)

It also doesn't explain all the well known good places outside of new york.

The big issue here is no one spends time on the dough. It's a 4 day process for me, which used to be normal in NYC. No one making dough, with SUGAR, the same day they use it will turn out. a decent pizza dough ever.

I was talking with one of the partners at Mary Angelas once, the Italian guy, and asked him. He basically said Richmonders are savages who don't know what good pizza tastes like, and took the heart out of it for him, so why bother with all the effort?

tl;dr, it's not the water, it's the consumers demanding competence

pandemic had a big effect. But from 2017 it's everything you remember, plus more of it.

We don't say Manchester and the G word in the same sentence

Real estate is insane by Richmond standards. Might look pretty sane to you depending on where you are coming from.

City is actually a nicer place to live every year. And more urban

no clue, but I'd be very pessimistic in Chesterfield. None have ever been approved sounds like don't bother.

The city used to have that approach, and has now actually seemed to realize it's idiotic, and is permitting ADUs with SUPs, and moving to change the code. This is awesome for homeowners and for renters, which should make it a no brainer, so my mind is utterly boggled that it's happening.

So while I'd guess Chesterfield would be the very last place in the area to approve it, who knows? Stil call your representatives

Any electrician can do it it's easy stuff in theory, the issue is how far away your panel is etc etc

People here are recommending the equivalent of s 30 amp dryer plug, which is certainly easy but it might not provide enough of the charge for your needs.

First calculate the charge needed then add a margin and work back from there.

I'm leery of everything that isn't hardwired because it just sounds like a hack homeowner thing but that might not be entirely fair.
