I have known McClellan for almost 30 years, and don't have any idea what you are talking about. Are you saying she's a political incompetent? She isn't. Nor is thinking about one's future in politics scheming.

But to say she is incompetent at scheming is utterly unfair. She's a smart woman. What sort of insane view of politics do you hold?

it's going to be fascinating. And scary. But I think this is Stoney's best shot. No ramp up and he actually has a lot of democratic party support which helps in a low turn out special.

I bet he runs. Not a strong bet, but it seems like he can shoot his shot without resigning even.

In which case, who will be running for mayor?

I don't know how I feel about it, but this makes some sense.

What are the chances Richmond voters actually vote for a nuts and bolts, fix the potholes and build bus shelters mayor though? We are more likely to get some form of Stephanie lynch or whatshername, the woman who ran against Stoney from the left last time, with no experience managing anything

they are super cheap garbage, but so is everything else you are looking at.

Only way you are getting quality furniture with your criteria is used, and it will be a hunt. American furniture is garbage up to a surprisingly expensive price point, because that's what people want - they are planning to chuck it in 5 year.s

In which case just do Ikea. It's garbage but fairly priced

I would disagree with much of that. I don't know anyone good who uses those lines, though I'm sure someone does. But more importantly there are lots of good installers out there and that really matters. Lowes and Home Depot have none of them - that's where people with no business go to get sold leads. And anyone with no business now sucks

this would be a good thing to mention to contractors after they are interested, since interesting HOAs would make many run screaming.

FWIW I think there will be a slowdown in a year or so, and more availability. Currently it's a pain

You'll find most serious people will charge you less for new cabinetry. Why? Because removing and storing the old ones without having to refinish them is a nightmare. Plus fitting them into the new design.

What's your ballpark budget?
