I think this conversation was revolving around the placement of these signs on public property. Nobody really cares if someone leaves their Malloy signs up in their front lawn, it's the fact they're strewn up and down the roadways.

I think they should be held liable for anyone in their race lol. So like Malloy is responsible for the welch and Malloy signs.

Totally agree it's littering.

I think there is actually some evidence it does work in terms of people being predisposed to not want to be the odd man out. You drive down the street and it's all Trump signs, you might feel like you should vote a certain way to fit into the community, or vice versa if it's a bunch of Bernie or Biden signs.

Interesting, I read that as it being a $1000 fine to remove or deface a political sign on public or (someone else's) private property without their consent. Not a $1000 fine for the politician if they don't remove them. Could be mistaken though.

Lol at the Shaw's comment. Even if they carried it, doubtful, it would probably taste like trash.

Onion river coop on Flynn Ave in Burlington has some, but it's painfully overpriced.

15 should be the entry level wage. If you hire experienced cashiers, or expect them to do anything beyond the bare minimum, you should give them more.

Honestly I'd consider a profit sharing model, might help you get more motivated employees who will be more motivated to upsell and are more likely to take care of the place. Just my 2 cents from having worked a lot of retail/service industry gigs the two places I worked with profit sharing were by far the best places to be.

I could give two shits if someone is a Republican in the traditional sense. I personally wish they'd do a little more to come up with ideas instead of just saying what won't work, Dems/progs are certainly flawed and I don't think they think things through all the way, but at least they're trying to solve problems even if I don't always agree with their remedies.

Malloy is cut from the trumpy cloth of republicanism though, which carries the election denialism, xenophobic, anti education, dumbass rhetoric that is actively dangerous to the country instead of just being something I disagree with. On top of that his campaign is putting his signs up all over the state, it's not just a few intersections, they're all up and down the roadways. Talk about not understanding Vermonters, which he doesn't since he just moved here a couple years ago, and a few campaign events ain't gonna change that.

Google Fi works great for me in most of the state, though the closer to the kingdom I get the worse it gets, as well as in more remote towns like ripton. Otherwise terrific.

My gf has Verizon, her coverage is better overall but seems to have a lot of instances where she has like full bars of LTE/5G and pages won't load. Verizon reps have said it's because too many people are on the towers at once.

Climbing gyms are a great non alcoholic way of meeting people, people are usually pretty chatty, open to meeting people, good way to stay in shape too.
