I’m still pissed that when cell phones were first starting to be a thing, phone companies wanted to put receivers in the subway but the MTA said no because it would be “disruptive” to have people taking on their phones (as if there aren’t 15 other things far more disruptive and obnoxious)

But it’s not “costume” it’s drag. Also they should have to rename the event
Edit: shouldn’t

Probably because his base isn’t the type to fact check things and figured he could claim “fake news” if he ever got caught

Sure in the long term that might get rid of tipping, but in the short term you’re already fucking over people who depend on those tips to live. Tipping culture IS stupid, the same way our health care system is stupid but that’s our reality right now. If you’re really that morally opposed to tipping culture maybe just don’t order delivery

That’s because the system has to authorize your payment method before the cost of gas fill-up is determined. It’s not like at a register where if your card is declined they can just take stuff off, the gas is already in your car. For a pay as you go transit tap there wouldn’t be a pre-authorization charge because they’re charging you the full cost up front, either it goes through or your card is delclined

If your paint is rubbing off you should definitely be exchanging your phone. That sounds like a manufacturing defect
