A good rule of thumb is that if you are asking a question about a book you have not yet read, it probably belongs in the recommendation thread.

There is a section in our FAQ dedicated to getting into reading and staying focused while reading, that should offer the advice you are looking for. You can also search the specific title of that section to find newer threads that are not listed there.

Trigger warnings have been a popular topic in the past, you can use our search to find those older threads if you are interested. OPs post was 90% about their writing experience, and their question was about how to market their books. So yes, it belongs in a writing sub or a self publishing sub where they also posted.
