Apologies, but your post does not contain enough for people to engage in conversation. Do you have something else to say about the book that you could edit into the text? Let me know if you edit it and I will reinstate your post.

Or, if you would prefer to share quick/brief reactions to a book you are currently reading or recently finished, you can comment in our weekly What We're Reading thread, accessible from our header atop the sub. Your book may even appear in the sub banner! Thank you.

Per rule 3.14 No DAE, TIL, or Unpopular Opinion type threads. The answer to any question beginning with the words 'does anybody else...' is literally always yes, and the answer to any question beginning with 'am I the only one...' is literally always no. You are far from the only reader to have come up with this idea/habit/thought and we are not here to provide you with praise or validation. These threads should be rephrased to provide significant content for discussion and less clickbait titles, or posted in their respective dedicated subreddits. You may also find what you are looking for in our FAQ.

Your surprise over your donation being sold for funding is not about books nor is there much to generate a discussion. If you instead want to discuss library book management or ask where one might donate to get more 'philanthropic' bang for your buck, that would be an entirely different post.

You don't have to take this down, but you will have to re-ask it in the Simple Questions thread. The thread is linked on the sidebar but here is a link to save you the trouble.

You may also want to ask over in /r/BookCollecting and maybe /r/librarians.

Hi there. Your post would be better asked in our Simple Questions thread. It helps us keep the main subreddit focused around broader discussion rather topics which only apply to an individual. Thank you!

Hi! In order to prevent the sub from being flooded we are putting a moratorium on all standalone posts related to the "best books of 2022", "my 2022 reading accomplishments", and "reading goals for 2023". Check out the posting schedule here. If you have any questions please contact us using modmail.

Sure. But your post is about having a crush on a 'cute' woman whose voice you heard on the radio, and have not read any of her books.

If you want to discuss how our opinion of writer's attractiveness influences how we perceive their writing, you can make a post about that. But that is not what your post is about, so please seek a more appropriate sub.
