Oh holy fuck, exploded nappies.

My twins are disabled - they’re 6 now, one still in nappies 24/7 and one only at night. One sleeps on his front and we had a major issue with the first lot of prescription nappies we got - they’d just fill up at the front and overflow or burst. Even if we changed him in the night, or more than once, we’d still wake up often with exploded nappies. That stuff is a bloody nightmare to clean up and absolutely stinks. Agree though - hard floors should be mandatory with kids (with padding down when they’re little and falling a lot obviously!). I absolutely dread to think what state carpets would be in between all the accidents, sickness bugs, exploded nappies, toilet training, spills… and the time one managed to reach a bottle of liquid watercolour on a shelf (big error).
