we dont get along but i agree with you on this one. this sub tore the owners of the potential hiphop themed fried chicken restaurant in east liberty when they tried to crowd-fund.

But this sub is fickle and the mods dont adhere to their own guidelines (look at all the sports posts they allow).

they use facebook so they can publicly vet people. burns are known for some illicit behaviors and they want to make sure no anti-burners show up. most of the people i know either take an rv or build a temporary structure onsite. one crew had a hot tub in 2019.

I have many frostburn pals and unfortunately the facebook community is your best resource. it has been known to be rather warm some years, so be prepared for any type of weather.

i bike that section of penn and a few other soul-sucking nexus points in this burgh and i feel as if i could easily handle any city after doing so for years.

everywhere else seems to be organised chaos. here, it's random chaos. unpredictable unpredictability. like a sea of toddlers having a tantrum during a sugar crash.

love this town.

the upstage was a bar, a club, and a clubhouse. punks & goths and everyone in between. 80s nights were thursdays; saturday was goth night. live band karaoke one night... free pool tables, dirt cheap drinks. i was so sad when it closed. james and dave were the best bartenders ever. i still rock my upstage tshirt from time to time.

It closed in 2006 and became an ija for a spell. the deli case was were the bar once stood.
