A little bit of real danger from dilapidation just adds to the experience though.

Edit:

>Now city council will decide if the city can begin the eminent domain process to acquire the building to fix the main street bridge and move forward with the Renew Jordan Creek Project.

>The Main Street Bridge is deteriorating. Large buses, emergency vehicles, and trucks can’t drive over it. City leaders say the bridge can’t be repaired until the building is removed.

Ah, it's more than just the building itself.

And over half a century later we get a pretty solid beer out of it. If we repeat the mistake again soon I'll hopefully be around for the next one.

The economic impact of a minor league sports team is even less than that of a major league sports team. People aren't exactly flying out of state to catch a Springfield Cardinals game nor are things like sports bars and such being built around the team.

I don't mind having a baseball team in town; I like the Cardinals. I'm just not gung-ho about subsidizing billionaires with public tax dollars.

Meh, not a huge fan of tax dollars going into stadium improvements that the billionaire owners should be paying for. Pretty overwhelmingly, studies show that stadiums are poor to negative investments which don't really add as much economic value as they're sold.

I'm a sports fan too, but IMO the billionaire owners should be the one footing the bill. Did the city council even open it for public discussion on whether to invest the money to buy and pay for the improvments?

Okay I got a specific request here. My wife and I are looking for another xbox playing couple who wants to start a Stardew Valley farm. We also play games like Borderlands, Sea of Theives, and Deep Rock Galactic. Hit me up if interested! We're pretty chill and like making friends with everyone.

If you like bone in, Coyotes. It's as good as advertised. Don't get boneless there; it's pitiful in comparison.

For boneless, I really like Big Whiskeys.

I have nothing against 7 Brew, and I get they're probably filling a legit want. It's a little dispointing in a town with so many great local places, especially coffee shops, to see another chain put another spot in. Not hating just wish we could have seen that gap filled by something local (even if chains add jobs for locals).

But I get the drive through concept is different than what we've seen. Would have been cool if Dancing Mule, Travelers, Black Lab or any of those other staples filled that niche.

Lol. If you've paid attention you knew after he was first hired he was moving on. The only question now is how many NCAA violations get discovered, and what damage did he leave the program underneath the surface.

If someone is just willing to leave a professional nfl team in the middle of the night without telling the team or his assistants, it definitely tracks they aren't caring about Missouri State.

In a reated vein, anyone able to recommend a decent antenna for catching broadcast channels? Specifically want KY3 (NBC), KRBK (Fox), and KOLR (CBS) for football games.

I've tried several different cheap antennas, even ones that advertise "long range", and have this maddening issue that like I can get two of the 3 and those 2 change based on which one I use, or which room I have (both rooms by big windows hung in the air and unobstructed). I live in the middle of town near the mall so it's not like out in the sticks.

I don't want any special bells or whistles. It literally needs to pick up those 3 channels. Just for whatever reason, while I can get them all, I can't get them all at the same time without switching antennas and going to a whole ordeal.
