They follow the federal government here for the most part. If the fed closes, everyone else closes unless your employer is a jerk and they make you drive to work or take it as a vacation day.

Great! Westminster Park! It’s on Westminster St, between S and T. About 20 min from you. By spring you will really love it. It’s a cute little park tucked between some houses.

This is ridiculous and yet, not surprising. I know someone whose husband was murdered in a carjacking. That guy got 15 years. I don’t know wtf is wrong with our courts. This case the 13 years came from the DA.

This is why I had to stop notifications for the DC Police Twitter. Parents use 911 as a damn babysitter. Lol. Kids go missing and turn up 2-3 hours later. It’s sad but I don’t even pay attention anymore. I assume it’s the same you’re seeing in VA. Maybe they just don’t report back one the child is located?

I read that other thread. Home with the kiddies waiting for them to go to bed so I can wrap the last few things. I was wondering if you all would meet! Awesome to hear it happened!! Merry Christmas to you all!
