Reply to PEMA Volunteers? by Competitive-Ad-5153
I don’t volunteer with them but have had the chance to interact with their director and leadership. Fantastic people and a nation-leading example of local-focused preparation and emergency management. If you’ve got the time, they would be a great group to work with (IMHO).

It’s really the only response. There is no better in PVD.

Olneyville. 1828 Westminster (I think that’s the address) has 4 or 5 newly built apts in that price range. Mere block away from the Scurvy Dog.

With this tight labor market, the applicant pool might be shallow as well. Really wish there were more SME talent in DPW, or a more clear roadmap from Smiley that he is going to broaden the remits of other city agencies to deliver on his promise of better services to PVD’ residents.

Olneyville square. Would draw from valley and western side of west end. Schools nearby, etc etc. paragon mills is filling up with residents. They have a great space on the Paragon mill property that would make a great coffee shop if space on the square wasn’t available.
