Anyone know what's up with the old Hahnemann Hospital? I feel like that might be a cool abandoned complex now, especially with Drexel moving out of their buildings.

Is this accurate? Shouldn't it consider that the earth is indeed not flat?

Amazon is taking FOREVER to open any of their new grocery stores. They've cancelled some but still have a ton that are under construction.

Grocery stores almost always require parking on site. Kinda makes sense and as long as it's not a surface lot and too obnoxious to the area I can't complain.

How common are fisher cats in CT? I've never seen one and rarely hear about them.

What do we have now? I know the talk in some new Center City building was about one of the first indoor "public" spaces in a private building. This was just a couple weeks ago. Maybe they just add public space for a bonus?
It is also worth noting that Drexel Square is a new "public" privately owned space adjacent to 30th st station.

The tunnel reopening project was supposed to be a priority and one of the first things completed as part of Amtrak station renovations. I haven't heard an update in a while and SEPTA work continues. Last I heard was the ongoing SEPTA project "prepared" the tunnel for reopening, or at least on SEPTAs side.

It's pathetic the lower tax has lasted this long. It should be raised higher than the old rate.

Aren't many of these farms, including Jones on permanent agricultural land. As in they can never be developed. Plus I believe farms are typically taxed less than other land uses.

Angevine "sold out" of trees before the season even started.

Yeah, I slowly watched as more and more people viewed it. I guess Philly has enough users to make a plane #1 watched.

40th and Chestnut will likely reopen when the new building is done in a year or two, the plans distinctly call for McDonald's to be the sole ground floor tenant, seems to have a walk up window like Shake Shack too.
The one in Walnut that burned down is still owned by McDonald's, although I've seen no progress on rebuilding.

The one in university city should be closing any day now if it hasn't already. Permits for the new building have been coming in. None left in center city, although McDonald's still owns the lot that burned down.

They order from some of the same suppliers as any other fish stores. Nothing wrong with buying fish from a chain store, there's plenty of great aquatics managers at petcos. Of course there's still benefits to supporting a locally owned business.
