I lived on that same street as a undergrad in a house that is now gone to make room for those apartments. It's probably a safer little area now than when I lived there because of the apartments and it never felt unsafe back then. Used to be super convenient to walk to MSU when the weather was nice. House my friend and I rented was $650 for 2br 1ba so yeah those places want to make you pay out the nose for what is essentially a dorm. If you like the complex go for it, it's not a bad area to be in and convenient to downtown.

That wasn’t a complaint. That was a question from someone seeking medical treatment with cannabis asking where they can go to not trigger their condition.

Now saying: I really hate all these rec users taking up the line at my dispensary and idiots on Reddit that failed reading comprehension. That’s a complaint learn the difference.

My first show in Springfield was a 90s one hit wonder Deep Blue Something at the Juke Joint in like 98/99. They played their one hit about half way through and everyone left. I was a fixture at the Juke Joint almost every weekend in 99-00 seeing so many bands I can’t even remember most of them. Their carding for alcohol policy to be very lax to nonexistent which was just fine for a 18-19 year old.

Dead Sexy brings back some fun memories. A fiend at the time introduced me to the lead singer and I used to run in their circle for a year or 2 until the band fell apart. Their first band name was Struct and they just did a bunch of NIN covers.

I will just repeat why I voted no on the Galloway thing. I was for it until the day of voting. The hard sell electioneering going on outside my polling location turned me off. Lady with a baby in a stroller in the rain. Was she saying to vote Democrat to support a woman's right to choose? No, she was pushing to vote in favor on Galloway. They played their hand too hard for me that it was the end of Springfield if we didn't pass it. I voted no to it to send a message to not be drama queens.

Yeah. They need to find a new venue for edm stuff. Odessy’s sound system sucks. The lsdream show at the venue at sunset and Kansas was awesome. They should do more there.

I hear expressway I think of expressways I've seen in other states where there are limited red lights and smaller side roads that allow accesses to businesses. Or something more akin to Southwest Trafficway in KC that has very few redlights and is 3 lanes for a right turn lane / extra driving lane.

I stopped shopping at Walmart because they want to pay more people to catch people stealing rather than have them as cashiers that would prevent shrinkage at the self checkouts. Started exclusively shopping at Price Cutters. Prices aren’t that much more and I don’t feel like a criminal being watched all over the store.
