No, I don't think they should be treated less severely. I don't think anyone is suggesting that. What does that have to do with hate crimes increasing anyway? It's just an odd hill to die on here. Crime organizations that target protected groups should be punished to the full extent of the law. Protected classes are protected for a reason--they're already under duress for their situation. Intentionally targeting them, in my mind, is worse than a "standard" crime.

You're the one who went out of your way to try to blindly defend criminals.

What do I have to add? Nazis in the streets of NH is not a direction I'm excited about. Whether you like the idea of "hate" crimes or not. Arguing the semantics is just deflection as far as I'm concerned.

"Corporations as people" put profits ahead of humans. C level folks tend to be narcissists and psychopaths. Systems which had been put in place to prevent capitalism from devouring humanity have been systematically removed or degraded to uselessness. Media contributes to the problem. The same rich folk controlling the media promote these ideals and sell divisiveness as a product. The result is an angry populace who believe unbridled and unregulated capitalism is the savior, when it's been the downfall all along.

They used to have a local office in Epping. It closed, so now we have no local agent to talk to.

Phone waits are 1-2 hours to talk to anyone.

Trying to refi? You must first buy yourself an appraisal, then wait a few weeks for them to send you the paperwork.

I mean, like I said, getting the house was great. We probably wouldn't have been able to otherwise at the time. I doubt we'd go through it again.
