I did the one chip challenge the second year they released it. I'm sure they've made it spicier since then. My mouthfeel was fine (I've eaten raw Carolina Reapers before, so my datum is a bit skewed compared to the typical person). However, I stupidly ate it on an empty stomach and I had terrible cramps for the rest of the day. Do not recommend.
Paqui, the company that makes it, has a normal spicy chip called Haunted Ghost Pepper. I use those to make microwave nachos.

When my wife was still with her ex, he asked her to go start the propane grill while he finished prepping the meat. She turned the gas on but didn't light the burners because she didn't know you have to do that. He lost his eyebrows that day, and she doesn't touch our grill.

What I have noticed in my city, is that when people see flashing lights behind them, they just panic and stop their car in the middle of the road instead of pulling over. So many terrible drivers here..

I believe I read once that the Mall of America in Minneapolis where it gets to -40 degrees sometimes doesn't have a heating source, and as an HVAC designer I believe it.

Oh, I love those. I had some recent record drawing projects where I only had scanned ancient BS like you said and a set of survey markups from a guy who couldn't write to save his life. Couldn't tell the difference between 3, 5, or 8. They all looked the same!

One thing you are kind of approaching here is the fact that evolution has no "purpose" other than increasing fitness with the tools it has available (previous adaptations and random mutations).
It's possible that bird eyes would be more advantageous than ours, but we diverged from them long ago and going back would be pretty difficult with potentially no useful steps in between

Doesn't the mantis shrimp have the widest range of color vision including UV of any animal?

Snakes, duh. Then falcons to eat the snakes. Then resurrect a pterodactyl to eat the falcons. Then evacuate your house because a dinosaur owns it now.

I'd try it, but definitely eat a bowl of oatmeal first.
