Marty waking up to different parents is part of the narrative of the original story, so yea a retcon, but a retcon that was planned from the start, that was the point.

Flashpoint is totally a retcon, on a massive scale, just with in universe explanation.

Joe Quesada didn’t want Mj and Pete married, so he wrote an in universe explanation to explain why they weren’t, and were never married.

The original question from Op did not specify whether the retcons needed to be diegetic or non diegetic (which I believe is what you are talking about, without knowing the term).

Rob McElhenney as Mac in “Mac finds his Pride”.

THe character started as a womanizer, before eventually coming out of the closet after about 12 seasons. In the episode I’m talking about, he decides to tell his imprisoned father that he is gay, by doing an interpretive dance for the whole prison, as well as Danny Devito’s character.

Anyone familiar with the show might be waiting for the joke, but there isn’t one. He and his partner do a five minute uninterrupted dance, in water, representing the storm swirling inside the character, as a catholic man coming to terms with his sexuality. It’s really beautiful and powerful.

Iirc Rob spent the better part of a year training and practicing for it. It’s pretty surprising coming from a show with an episode called “who pooped the bed”.

I have a generator the size of a small car for our family compound

It’s got an automatic transfer switch, it powers three apartments and a small business, complete with cooler and gas pumps.

I’ve also got UPS devices for all critical systems, so they don’t go out when the powe goes out, as the transfer switch takes 8 seconds to power generator on.

My home Wi-Fi network is also set up to stream my 20tb plex Server, even when the internets out.

Yeah we often have internet with no power, but sometimes it both. Depends on what was damaged. I also have a home network with a large plex library, so even when internet out we can stream plex in network at least,
