It's not a worthwhile endeavor. If you could harness and assemble the resources it'd take, making a whole planet might be the silliest thing you could possibly use them for. There are plenty of planets and moons we're not using. With a planet's worth of resources you could enlarge and terraform Mars, and still have most of your nickel and iron left over.

No they didn't. The Wiemar Republic had stricter gun control laws. When the Nazis took over, they loosened the regulations for Party members. They only disarmed the specific groups they hated.

It helps to be familiar with history before you get all shitty and sarcastic about it. A cursory search reveals that you're talking out your ass, which means you put even less effort than that cursory search into justifying your belief. Or you looked up Nazi gun control, saw that what you believe isn't true, and just lied to me, hoping I wouldn't know or check.

Does it matter what's true? When I show you a map that shows a hundred countries without our gun violence problem, does it really make sense to keep acting like solutions are impossible?

Do you feel you're being honest?

You hone in on one of the few countries with significant gun violence like ours, as if the existence of other violent countries proves America can't achieve something. To do this, you look past most of a planet where the problem is much less severe. Did you realize you were doing that?

Do you think there are not gangs and cartels and lunatics in these places?

Fascism is much more complex and specific than that, but yeah it would definitely require a repeal or reinterpretation of the Second Amendment to ever solve American gun violence. As long as we imagine "a well regulated militia" to really mean "any swinging dick who may desire to inflict high tech violence" we'll never be able to improve the situation.

They should, but those kinds of religious crazies get those jobs specifically for the chance to inflict their silly fake Jesus on people who need goods and services. My driving instructor was one of them. Get a few teenagers in the car away from family and friends, feeling nervous and vulnerable, and then spend that time pounding them with Jesus.

Some religions make you a worse person while making you feel like a good person.

I am glad for you, that you've never had to watch someone die slow and ugly over many days. I have. It's the worst thing I've ever experienced.

Beg whatever gods you believe in that you never know what it's like to smell a loved one rotting while they slowly drown in their own fluids. That you don't watch their fingers blacken. That you're never there for those moments of confused semi-lucidity when they beg for help that isn't possible.

It is impossible to experience that horror without feeling a sort of shame that you're letting it happen. You wouldn't inflict it on a stranger's dog. You'd shoot it because that would be kindness.
