If you ever want to know more about the plants around you, there's an app on android (possibly iphone) called PlantNet that identifies plants when you take pics of them and gives you info on them. Super cool and free.

For purslane I was blown away that this weed that grew in the cracks of my driveway was seen as an important food/plant all the way back to prehistoric times. It's good to know a few things you can eat in case there's a zombie apocalypse or something.

You can eat the entire plant. A lot of what we classify as weeds are in fact very nutritious plants. See also: purslane.

It's around 3.125 years if you watch a four hours of tv a day. That's a ton of wasted productivity x 330 million people. At the average American income, that's around $832,000 for a lifetime of tv watching. No way your bill is coming to that for a lifetime of watching cable. That shit should be free. What you pay for streaming is a damn blessing.

It's typically 45 minutes in an hour long show. In more recent years, the length of an episode has been more lax than previously, so you might have just caught a shorter episode.
The real takeaway here is that if you watch TV regularly, ads are wasting a few years of your life. Cable should be free when you calculate the opportunity cost of that x 3 (24 hours in a day, not 8) x your salary.

GnR are the worst offenders. Skid Row has some pretty strong language as well. Def Leppard has thinly veiled sexual innuendo. Kiss is another band that does the same thing, but much of their albums from the 80s are mostly safe.

Queensryche is an amazing band known for making rock opera style albums that tell a cohesive story (Opearation Mindcrime), or songs that are more like short stories.
Megadeth is also a fantastic group, but their best album, Rust in Peace, doesn't drop until 1990.
Other great bands, but watch out for explicit lyrics: Guns N Roses, Skid Row, Winger, Cinderella, Dokken, White Lion, Bon Jovi, Metallica, AC/DC, Dio, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, Heart, and Def Leppard.

Simply say "no comment" and repeat as many times as necessary. If that gets old, say "I plead the 5th". Another somewhat bitchy move is to ask them the question they asked you. How old am I? How old are YOU?

I agree. There was talk of making him James Bond at one point but that fell through. Now that Daniel Craig has quit for sure, maybe it could still happen.

Maybe you need perspective. Work hard when you're young and before the doors start slamming shut in your face. Take advantage of the opportunities you have that others do not. The hard part for you has an ending. All you have to do is keep your goals small and attainable and keep doing them. There are people who would practically kill for your situation. Know that.
