Piggybacking on your post: I'm still looking for some good baked clams.

Nashua was a good transition city for me. There were late night options available for stores and bars(they close at like 1am, but i wasn't partying in NYC till 5am anyway). Once you meet a partner, if you both want a slower life with longer rides to the stores, then you can look further into the state. Worked for me.

I went to the last blockbuster and people were having a good time there, I'm sure having a pot shop down the street helps. I miss local movie stores.

Best - very quiet. I can see the stars at night. It's no Arizona/four corners stars, but there's a lot. Very little light pollution.

Worst - the 3-5 stores kind of suck. Just antique stores that never seem to be open. I rather put a spa or a blockbuster in one of them. Lol.

This is a through town so a lot of fast driving maniacs speed through getting to their homes or jobs. I wish there was a bypass road for them to take.

I have seen it under almost every kind of post: food, scenery, social issues... Everything. I have seen a similar thing on a Boston sushi restaurant telling them to promote it on some Boston thing.

It is crazy how there aren't any closer to southern NH. I was even thinking about going to Worcester because they have a mudroom.
