Like I said, Christmas week and President’s week are easily 50/hour. Along with leaf peeper season. This fall was wild! Unfortunately I’m not making shit right now because there’s no snow so it sucks… but a normal winter season would be at least 30 an hour. That’s in cash. I have a 401k so my paycheck isn’t really anything but I’m not sure what else you want to argue about

I had a friend who worked at Ben and Jerry’s (in the store)… they said they loved it and everyone who worked there was nice. The pay was great and they got a free pint often enough that they were sick of ice cream pretty quickly. This was pre covid and not in your department though, so I guess my comment is irrelevant. But you could always try it out!

One of my favorite things (when I lived in town) was reading the Stowe police blotter. So funny. And this was wayyyy before I had Reddit. My favorite was (not quoting it… a long time ago)

“A caller heard gunshots. It turned out to be a turkey slamming its head against a barn door”.

Also people will call into the police for random shit. This lady at the restaurant asked if we had found her sunglasses and we said “ok were you in earlier today? We might have them!” She said “no can you check the floor? We were here three days ago” I wouldn’t be surprised if this lady called Stowe PD about sunglasses she was missing three days ago.

The assumptions you’re making here are insanely untrue and kinda insulting to be honest. Don’t know where you’re getting this nonsense from, but every 30 something I know lives on their own and has a kid or two of their own too.

“You don’t have to tip in restaurants”??!!! In the US you should always tip servers and bartenders. I’m not gonna go into the whole tipping debate with anyone because I’m so sick of it, but it’s always been customary to tip in restaurants in the US.

Thank you! I’m not new to plants, I just have a hard time with monsteras. They’re my enemy hahaha! I hate how I have trouble with them. I’m gonna leave her alone for awhile. If I don’t see a change in the next few days I’ll take it out, check for root rot and repot with more bark. I put SO much perlite in the mix idk how it’s still so wet

Thank you!!! I’m having trouble with one right now haha! I’m using regular potting soil, lots of perlite, and bark. Just swapped with a friend and she’s had her monstera cutting in water for a long time. The roots were super healthy looking and long so I potted the cutting… maybe I should’ve planted in spaghum for a smoother transition? My leaves are curling but soil is still moist and everything is still green. I don’t wanna shock it any more so I’m leaving it alone… any suggestions? :)
