Certainly from an artistic standpoint it's not possible to surpass Da Vinci, but a movie like Avatar 2 is more technologically advanced than any other from 10 years ago, or even a concept art for God of War uses higher technology. I think AI art will be replaced by AI video, AI comics, AI games with a single prompt in ChatGPT-5 and be human assisted in ChatGPT-4. The current art technology is pretty but not superhuman and lacks consistency, once it surpasses the best humans it will likely become ubiquitous.

Google PaLM-SayCan proves it is feasible to have even humanoid AI robots right now when plugged to a large language model, they could just sell us the hardware and give software updates with a "Windows Robot 1" or similar. When they plug it to GPT-4 equivalents it will be good enough for a consumer release in 2023.

There are humanoid robot companion projects with realistic skin in China that have the robotics to walk but not the AI, some that most people would easily purchase as romantic partners if Google plugged their PaLM-SayCan AI right now, the problem is that a walkable humanoid robot like the CyberOne costs $89k to $104k.

My prediction: We could have walkable sex bots with GPT-4 this year for $50k from Microsoft or Google, but no company is willing to be a pioneer like Meta did for VR, so we will have it as soon as there are open source ChatGPT-4 and walking algorithms for the current sexbot companies to sell their products, or only open-source GPT-4 if it's capable of handling walking.
